Itera International Headquarters Office Building:

Koger, Jacksonville, Florida

Performed the structural design and threshold inspection of the five story building comprised of a 44,000 square foot four-story office building above a 19,000 square foot one-story parking garage.  Conventional shallow foundations support the construction of the five-story building.  Cast-in-place concrete columns support cast-in-place concrete beams that support the first floor of the office building.  The first floor of this building is built with 10 precast-concrete hollow-core planks.  The exterior of this level of the building is constructed with concrete tilt-walls.  Above this level, the building is constructed with a concrete cast-in-place slab supported by composite steel decking and composite steel beams while the exterior wall changes to light gage steel studs.  The lateral resistance of this building is provided by steel braced frames at the elevator and stairwell shafts that come down to concrete shear walls at the garage level.

Performed the structural design of the 5-story spec office building constructed in the Freedom Commerce Center for a construction cost of 6 million dollars.  The building featured a five story atrium lobby.

Barnett Bank, Prima Vista, Florida

Performed the structural design and threshold inspection of the 40,000 square foot 4-story office building in New Port Richie, Florida. The building was constructed in 1992 at a construction cost of 3 million dollars excluding sitework. The structure featured conventional shallow foundations over soil improved by vibro-flotation. Wide flange steel columns with lateral X-bracing support the composite floor construction utilizing a concrete floor above steel decking and steel beams
