Performed threshold inspection services for the auditorium and cafeteria building, building four of a five building campus, at the school in Fruit Cove, Florida.  The school is located within the State Department of Educationís St. Johns County School District.  The 8,000 square foot auditorium and cafeteria building was constructed with load bearing concrete masonry units on shallow foundations.  Steel trusses at the center of the building and masonry at the perimeter supported the roof system of steel decking above steel bar joists.

Performed threshold inspection services for both the 5,300 square foot auditorium building and the 11,500 square foot gymnasium building, buildings ďBĒ and ďFĒ of a six building campus, at the school in Fruit Cove, Florida.  The school is located within the State Department of Educationís St. Johns County School District.  The gymnasium, building ďFĒ, was designed as an enhanced hurricane protection area, which increases its capacity to resist hurricane wind forces. The two buildings were constructed with load bearing masonry walls on shallow foundations.  These walls supported the roof system that was over thirty feet above the finished floor of steel decking above steel bar joists.

Performed the countyís mandatory bleacher and grandstand engineering and inspection review.  This review covered every elementary school, middle school, and high school operated by the county from Ponte Vedra to Hastings.  These inspections varied between the aluminum bleachers at the baseball fields, the wooden stands in the gymnasiums, and the concrete grandstands at the high school football fields.  The scope work entailed a final report outlining each bleacher or grandstand reviewed with their status and proposed repair details to meet the local building code.
